Komaram Puli in August
The bad news for Pawan Kalyan fans is that his most-anticipated Komaram Puli will not reach theatres until August. Although 70% of the film has been completed, Pawan is busy campaigning for his brother Chiranjeevi’s party PRP.
Pawan has stopped working until the polls are over and is now participating in a series of road shows across the state. The elections in A.P. are from April 16 to 23; so hopefully Pawan will return to work by the end of April.
S.J Suryah, director of Puli, will restart shooting by April-end or May first week and the film will be completed only in July. The heroine a London based model, Nikisha; A.R. Rahman is the music director.

With the country set go for Lok Sabha elections in April and May, Pawan Kalyan, who is busy working for his brother Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam party, has temporarily stopped working for his upcoming flick Komaram Puli. Director S. J. Suryah had planned that Puli would be released by April. But perhaps the delay will be a wise decision since Puli is already delayed due to various issues.
Puli had to overcome several obstacles since the beginning. S.J. Suryah had a freak accident on the set of a Tamil film and had to rest for weeks, delaying Puli’s start. In December, Chiranjeevi named younger brother Pawan Kalyan head of 'Yuva Rajyam', the youth wing of his party Praja Rajyam. So, Pawan is now more involved with party matters and touring the state campaigning.

Pawan restarts shooting
Power star Pawan Kalyan, who was recently admitted to Yashoda Hospital immediately after he collapsed due to low blood pressure during a meeting at Amberpet in Hyderabad, will recommence shooting his upcoming Puli after April 23.
"I am committed to canvassing for Praja Rajyam Party till the second phase of polling on April 23, after which I will recommence the shooting of Puli," he reportedly said to a leading news channel from his hospital room. He also expressed confidence that his brother Chiranjeevi will emerge as winner in these polls despite surveys predicting Chiranjeevi's defeat.
Directed by S.J. Suryah and produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Sri Kanaka Ratna Movies with Hansika Motwani and Parvati Melton as heroines, Puli has music by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman and cinematography by Bollywood's Vinod.

His campaigning schedule was so rigorous that he fainted while addressing a meeting at Amberpet in Hyderabad. He is currently in a hospital recuperating. In an interview given to a television channel, Pawan said that he will be back in front of the camera soon. “I am committed to canvassing for Praja Rajyam till the second phase of polling on 23rd April, after which I will recommence the shooting of Puli,” he said.
He also talked about the surveys predicting Chiranjeevi’s failure in the elections. “These surveys have no validity. In India, most of pre-poll surveys by media miss the real picture. Look at what happened in the last elections, a majority of them predicted NDA’s win but Congress finally came to power. So don’t worry about these surveys. We are confident of winning a thumping majority,” he said.

Yuva Rajyam president Pavan Kalyan has expressed the confidence that the PRP will be able to get absolute majority and Chiranjeevi will become Chief Minister by this time next month.
Addressing an election meeting near Jairam talkies here on Sunday, Mr. Pavan Kalyan recalled his association with Ongole.
He said his father worked as head constable in the Excise Department here when Mr. Chiranjeevi studied in C.S.R. Sarma College.
He said he learnt his alphabets in a street corner school in Gopalanagaram here and imbibed two policies in life – being honest and keep trying till the goal is achieved.
He rebutted the charge of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy that Mr. Chiranjeevi had done nothing to his native village in West Godavari district.
He said as his father worked in several coastal towns, they considered no single place as their native place for development.
He said that the Congress Government was ridden with corruption.
Had it developed the State there would have been no need for the PRP.
Party’s aimHe said that Mr. Chiranjeevi floated the PRP not to earn fame, power or money but to provide a clean government and serve the people better.
He felt that the PRP would win 80-85 seats in the first phase of polls and an equal number in the second phase to form the government on its own.
Responding to the request of his fans, he said there was no need for him to twirl his moustache or thump his thighs to challenge his enemies. “It is enough if we have a brave heart to oppose corruption,” he observed.
Appeal to votersHe introduced PRP candidates – Parvathaneni Anand for Ongole Assembly seat and Pidatala Sai Kalpana Reddy for the Ongole Lok Sabha seat – and appealed to the people to vote for them.

Pawan kalyan's Komaram Puli releases in August
The film Komaram Puli with Pawan Kalyan in a dual role is being delayed considerably. The reason for the delay is Pawan Kalyan’s absence at shooting as he is busy with road shows for the Praja Rajyam Party.
Komaram Puli is directed by SJ Suryah of Khushi fame. A London based hot shot model Nikisha is the heroine. Suryah will commence shooting once agin from the last week of April as Pawan will be free from party work by that time.
The shooting will then go on non-stop till July. The producer Singanamala Ramesh now plans to release the film in August. The Oscar winning music director A R Rehaman is scoring the music for the film.
